This position focuses on ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable authentication systems that protect customers, employees, and organizational data. You will support both on-premise and cloud-based identity solutions, troubleshoot complex security challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge authentication technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain identity and authentication platforms across enterprise environments (cloud and on-premise).Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation for authentication and identity systems.Provide engineering support for architecture, application development, and production authentication issues.Analyze, troubleshoot, and integrate third-party authentication and identity tools.Design and implement solutions to resolve production-level authentication and security issues.Evaluate and implement new authentication technologies to enhance security capabilities.Establish protocols to safeguard systems against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.Deliver regular technical reports on system performance, issues, and improvements.Analyze authentication systems and recommend enhancements aligned with emerging security standards.Stay current on Omni-channel authentication trends, digital identity solutions, and cybercrime threats.Provide data-driven insights and recommendations on authentication strategies and improvements.Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers as needed.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in Information Security or Technology OR High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experienceStrong expertise in customer authentication protocols and frameworks:SAML, OAuth, OIDC, JWTStrong understanding of identity infrastructure and authentication systems:Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, NTLM, Kerberos, ADFSSolid knowledge of TCP/IP networking and security troubleshooting principlesExperience with scripting and systems environments:Linux/Unix, Windows, Bash, PowerShell, or similarAbility to analyze complex technical issues and deliver effective solutionsStrong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience with Agile methodologies and SDLC tools (Git, Atlassian suite)Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS or AzureExperience with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScriptFamiliarity with FIDO, WebAuthn, OTP, biometrics, and MFA platformsBackground in financial services environmentsRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CIAM, or similarSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detail and research capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills#INDPRO
