Key ResponsibilitiesThe Roofing Service Technician is responsible for locating leaks and performing professional quality roof repairs in a safe and timely manner, while treating customers and fellow employees with courtesy and respect. Job duties also include the completion of defined scope projects and preventative maintenance activities. Must have knowledge of all roof systems (B.U.R, Modified Bitumen, EPDM, TPO/PVC Membranes, Tile, Shingles, Coating, Metal Roof etc.)Responsible for assisting in the operation and maintenance of all company issued equipment such as: vehicles, power tools, phones, hand tools, etc.Maintain trucks to ensure they are always stocked and cleaned inside and outUtilize industry standard manufacturer approved repair techniquesComplete daily assignments in a timely manner with completion of proper paperworkPerforms all other duties as assignedSkills, Experience, and Knowledge Required EducationHigh School Diploma or GED preferred, not requiredExperience3-5 years commercial roofing service technician experience required Skills & RequirementsMinimum 18 years of ageValid driver's license and insurable driving recordSuccessful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility testsComfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tallAbility to lift 100 LBS or moreSuccessful Background CheckAbility to withstand demands of extreme weather conditions and high temperaturesCapable of bending over most of the day and working on knees excessively throughout the dayAble to pass a government background check per project requirementsKnowledge of basic roofing toolsStrong verbal and written communication skillsWorking Conditions | Environment | Special RequirementsFull time onsiteAbility to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.Employees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing upon reasonable suspicion or any other regulatory requirement.The company is a "pet friendly" environment.
