You will play a key role in advancing our CNTIENT platform with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and models. A successful DevOps engineer for this role will be able to fulfill both the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) requirements of a cloud-based SaaS company, and the Platform Engineering principles of developer enablement.\n\nLocation\nWashington, DC area\n\nWhat you will be doing\n\nManaging and administering our AWS cloud infrastructure across multiple accounts, leveraging Terraform and AWS best practices.\n\nOverseeing and maintaining multiple EKS clusters, utilizing ArgoCD and Helm for deployments.\n\nLeading efforts in logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system reliability and performance.\n\nOwning and optimizing GitLab CI/CD pipelines, collaborating closely with developers to meet evolving needs.\n\nStay engaged with new greenfield initiatives, providing input and expertise in solution architecture.\n\nWorking in classified environment which may require on-site presence in secure facilities.\n\nWhat you will need\n\nActive TS/SCI clearance preferred or must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.\n\nPreferred Security+ Certification.\n\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field: Computer Science, Engineering, etc. or equivalent work experience.\n\n2-4 years of professional experience as a SRE, Platform Engineer, or Cloud Engineer emphasizing security best practices.\n\nStrong knowledge of AWS GovCloud (certification preferred).\n\nHands‑on experience running and scaling apps with Kubernetes and Docker.\n\nExperience managing infrastructure as code with Terraform.\n\nFamiliarity with GitOps workflows and packaging apps using Helm.\n\nSkills in observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.\n\nProficiency in Python and Bash for automation and scripting and experience working with PostgreSQL databases.\n\nFamiliarity with government security and compliance frameworks and applying DevSecOps best practices for secure infrastructure and deployments.\n\nBenefits\nOne of the most interesting aspects of working at a startup company is gaining equity, which means our success is your success.
