ATSC provides our customers with unmatched value for fully integrated systems proven to be operationally successful and maintainable throughout the life cycle of the program.\r\nThe Deployment Lead oversees the planning, installation, and maintenance of networked cutting-edge technology-based security and surveillance systems. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to execute site surveys, construction, technology integration (cameras, sensors, radar, communication/network and power generation systems), and system integration and testing, collaborating with DHS customers. The Deployment Lead will have good communication skills and work closely with our customer stakeholders and subcontractors to provide status to ensure systems are successfully deployed on time.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\nDeployment Planning & Execution: Manage the entire project lifecycle for Security and surveillance system upgrades and installations, including site surveys, material logistics, construction scheduling, and final system testing.\r\nTeam Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary field teams comprising engineers, technicians, and field service representatives, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.\r\nStakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for DHS customer stakeholders, providing status reports, managing expectations, and resolving issues.\r\nRisk Mitigation: Identify and evaluate potential risks to project success (e.g., logistical delays, environmental issues), developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact.\r\nQuality & Safety Control: Ensure all installations comply with corporate, OSHA, and project-specific safety standards.\r\nFinancial Oversight: Support the development of financial forecasts, manage budgets, and oversee subcontractor negotiations.\r\n\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\n\r\nIndividual should have a minimum of 3 years of experience integrating and fielding complex systems and overseeing capital asset deployments (example, concurrent deployments and construction of numerous systems annually) involving technology and/or communications rollouts.\r\nExperience leading deployment programs of capital assets or complex systems in austere environments for DHS or Defense organizations is preferred.\r\nBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Engineering, Information systems, Mathematics Education, or similar degree is required. Demonstrated experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.\r\nDomestic and international travel will be required.\r\nAbility to get a CBP BI clearance.\r\n\r\nPreferred Skills\r\n\r\n7 + years of experience in managing deployment projects of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal government is required.\r\nExperience working with similar programs for DHS or Defense organizations and international customers is preferred\r\nPrepare and complete action plans to be presented to the Government.\r\nAbility to provide direction and mentoring to project team members, set appropriate goals and work with the team to provide efficient management of the deployment.\r\nExperience documenting deployment processes and procedures\r\nProven ability to ensure compliance, and manage administrative requirements\r\nFamiliarity with security and surveillance infrastructure including sensor systems, power generation equipment, and networking (fiber/microwave).\r\nPMP (Project Management Professional) certification.\r\n\r\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment\r\n\r\nWork is typically performed in an office or deployment site setting\r\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, bend, and demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see.\r\nMust the ability to lift 15-25 pounds\r\nMust be able to read, write, and speak English\r\n\r\nATSC is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
