As part of our dedicated team, the ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and client relationship skills, contributing both to our current projects and to future business development efforts.\n\nRole and Responsibilities\n\nIn this position, you will be responsible for:\n\nLead and participate in all phases of K-12 and higher education project design and execution, from concept through construction.\n\nInterpret and apply Michigan State Education Department (SED) requirements for public school projects.\n\nEnsure compliance with SED procedures, keeping current with all relevant updates and protocols.\n\nCollaborate closely with clients, developing trusted relationships and ensuring alignment with project vision and goals.\n\nEngage in business development activities, identifying new client needs, attending presentations and contributing to strategic planning.\n\nQualified candidates will possess the following attributes:\n\nLicensed Architect in the state of Michigan.\n\n10 plus years of architectural experience, with a focus on K-12 and higher education facilities.\n\nIn-depth understanding of Michigan State Education Department procedures for public schools.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in client-facing roles.\n\nProven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.\n\nWe support our employees holistically.
