You’ll collaborate closely with design, development, and quality teams to plan, design, and implement robust automated tools and services that ensure the quality and reliability of our AI software stack. You will be highly hands-on in your work and collaborate closely with stakeholders.\n\nThis position offers a unique opportunity to influence the development of cutting-edge automation frameworks, foster a culture of quality, and contribute to the long-term success of the organization.\n\nWhat You Might Do\nDevelop and implement automation frameworks and testing strategies that cover the entire software stack, from backend systems to user-facing features.\nIdentify, evaluate, and integrate new tools that streamline development. This includes everything from code quality tools and to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions.\nLead continuous improvement efforts for our build, release, and test systems, ensuring a robust and efficient CI/CD pipeline.\nExplore and implement AI tools, such as the OpenAI API, to create both deterministic and non-deterministic testing approaches that uncover hard-to-find bugs.\nDesign and build reusable automated tests and tools that establish a high standard for the team, empowering other engineers to adopt and contribute to best practices.\nPartner with System Software, Automation, and Test teams to ensure testing strategies are integrated and aligned across the organization.\nUse your deep understanding of system logs and backend processes to diagnose and resolve complex issues that arise during testing.\nEssential Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n6+ years of experience in automation engineering.\nHands-on experience working with Linux and Windows.\nStrong proficiency in developing tools for test automation.\nDeep understanding of observability and telemetry.\nGood understanding of complete software development life cycle.\nProficiency in Python or other object-oriented programming languages.\nPreferred Skills\nYou have a deep understanding of the entire development ecosystem and can design and implement scalable build, release, and test systems.\nExpertise with CI/CD pipelines is critical, with hands-on experience in platforms like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.\nYou are proficient with test automation frameworks such as Pytest, and can lead the adoption of these tools to ensure product quality.\nYou are experienced with observability and monitoring tools, including Splunk, to provide deep insights into system behavior and performance.\nExperience with consumer electronics a plus\nFamiliarity with ML Usage. Some familiarity with how to leverage machine learning models in a product environment is a plus.\nStrong Interpersonal and Leadership Skills. You possess excellent communication skills and a proven ability to manage cross-functional relationships, driving alignment and collaboration with system software, automation, and test teams.\n\nSalary: $140,000- $225,000\n\nCompensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)\n\nThe salary range for this role is listed above.
