The Math Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned mathematics lessons, using a variety of instructional strategies to support diverse learning needs. Responsibilities include designing daily lesson plans, assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments, and providing timely feedback to students and families. The teacher will maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment, implement school-wide policies, and integrate technology and real-world applications into instruction. Additional duties include collaborating with colleagues, participating in professional development, communicating regularly with parents/guardians, and contributing to school events and initiatives.Qualifications Strong content knowledge in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach concepts clearly across multiple grade levels as assigned.Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including aligning instruction with state standards and school curriculum goals.Status as a Qualified Teacher, including appropriate state teaching certification or licensure (or eligibility to obtain), preferably with an endorsement in mathematics.Effective classroom management, student engagement, and differentiation skills to support learners with varied backgrounds and abilities.Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive classroom environment.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field required; advanced degree or specialized training in math education is a plus.Experience working in K–12 settings, charter schools, or diverse school communities is highly beneficial.Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and to contribute positively to the broader school community.
