This role requires a strong manufacturing finance background and the ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations for operational leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the plant’s finance and accounting operations.Manage annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting.Analyze manufacturing costs, margins, inventory, labor, overhead, and operating variances.Partner with plant leadership to improve productivity, control costs, and increase profitability.Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions.Oversee cost accounting and inventory accounting activities.Manage fixed assets and support capital expenditure planning and analysis.Develop financial models, KPIs, and management reporting to monitor business performance.Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.Support internal and external audits and corporate reporting requirements.Identify financial risks, trends, and opportunities that may impact plant performance.Lead, mentor, and develop the plant finance team.Partner with operations and senior management on initiatives that improve overall business performance.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.Strong manufacturing or plant finance experience required.Experience with cost accounting, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems.Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills.Proven leadership and team-development experience.Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with operations and senior management.CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.CompensationBase Salary: $150,000–$180,000 annually Annual Bonus: 20% target bonusEEO Our company is an equal opportunity employer.
