This position will support Project Managers with various administrative and coordination tasks, including preparing and maintaining project documents, managing project schedules, and communicating with clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced in supporting projects in a fast-paced environment.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nProject Support: Assist Project Managers with project-related correspondence, coordination, and administrative tasks.\nClient and Team Communication: Communicate with project teams and clients regarding deliverables, task completion, process changes, and requirements using email, phone, and in-person communication.\nDocumentation Management: Assist in preparing and tracking client proposals, contracts, submittals, and correspondence (letters, transmittals, meeting minutes).\nProject Scheduling: Maintain project schedules ensuring key milestones are met.\nPermitting Coordination: Coordinate permitting tasks with internal teams, clients, and jurisdictions.\nClient Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subconsultants, and vendors.\nSupport and Miscellaneous Tasks: Provide additional administrative support as needed, such as delivering plans and proposals, and assisting with client calls when the Project Manager is unavailable.\n\nWho You Are\nExperience supporting engineers, architects, contractors, or surveyors is preferred.\nFamiliarity with the site development process.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Trello, or similar).\nYou have a \"Do what needs to be done\" mindset, taking ownership beyond assigned tasks and stepping in wherever needed to keep projects, teams, and clients supported and running smoothly.\nStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with engineering or AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry-specific financial practices.\n\nWhy AKS?\nAt AKS, we believe your work should support your life, not the other way around.
