Join us and let’s get started.\n\nJob Description\n\nAECOM is currently seeking a Procurement Supervisor for a future upcoming project in our Arlington, VA area. This role executes procurement contracting strategies for large, complex data center construction projects and/or purchasing opportunities to ensure optimal cost and sufficient continuity of supply and services. Reviews and thoroughly understands the contract terms and conditions and ensures compliance from relevant parties. Scrutinize/negotiate and process all change orders with vendors/GCs/AEs. As well as manage and provide QA support for the MEP/OFCI (Owner Furnish Contractor Installed) equipment delivered to site.\n\nThis person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:\nIdentifies risks and roadblocks to contract execution/compliance and drives action internally and/or externally to resolve and/or escalate, as appropriate\nServe as first line of defense/communication with site EPC stakeholders on commercial matters\nExecute project closeout requirements\nMonitor and mitigate the impact of change orders to the project, and partners cross-functionally to resolve/escalate accordingly\nAttend weekly cost/change management meetings and report on open change orders\nHelp facilitate the MEP/OFCI equipment once delivered to site, including inspections and appropriate sign offs\nAddress quality-related issues as they arise and report to the quality team\nPartner with Labor Planning team on Field Service Representative constraints during Cx\nMonitor activity (via relevant software) by Vendors for timely Cx completion\nAssume all post-award contract execution responsibilities with GC, OFCI vendors, AE, Cx, etc\nIdentify potential risks and issues related to the project/contract and develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance\nProvide weekly status reports, issues, risks and mitigations to GC sponsor regularly\nPrepare regular reports on contract performance, issues, and resolutions\nPrepare contractual notices with sponsor oversight as per the contract\nWorking with the cost team, monitor and review payment requests from contractors and MEP/OFCI vendors\nAddress and resolve any payment disputes or discrepancies\nHelp facilitate and engage in negotiations with contractors and other parties to resolve disputes with regular updates to the client team\nEnsure contractual compliance with regard to all EH&S including Safety Root Cause Analysis\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Requirements\nBA/BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field required + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education\nExperience in Construction is required\nProficiency with contract management software/ERP systems such as Ariba/SAP/Cisco during construction\nPreferred Requirements\nData Center construction experience preferred but not required\n10 + years of experience in procurement and contract administration, demonstrating a solid understanding of construction processes, terminology, and industry best practices\nProficiency with contract management software/ERP systems such as Ariba/SAP/Cisco during construction\nBuilding positive relationships within the project team and with client personnel and their key advisors\nEffective time management and organizational skills\nAbility to operate and execute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and challenging deadlines\nExcellent written and verbal communication\n\nAdditional Information\n\nSponsorship is not available for this position\nRelocation is not available for this position\n#LI-SG1\n\nAbout AECOM\nAECOM is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits program to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
