Our mission is to break down barriers to access and build STEM proficiencies at scale for all students, worldwide.\nTHE JOB\nUnity Developer\nJOB DESCRIPTION\nPrisms seeks a developer with professional experience to build immersive learning experiences for mobile VR platforms using the Unity framework. Your main task will be to create scalable and reliable interactive experiences for immersive learning of STEM content. You will also support with the development of our C# platform systems. We require a strong commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and delivering a high-quality product.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign, build and maintain a modular, reusable, and resilient code base using that will be used to make high-quality, low footprint & performant immersive experiences.\nCollaborate with designers to implement prototypes of novel interactive learning tools and elevate production quality through rigorous user testing.\nPerform regular iteration and maintenance of applications, tools, and functionality to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness.\nEstablish strategy and development pipelines to integrate with release platforms.\nCreate and improve tools used to optimize the development pipeline\nContinuously work to identify & optimize processes, application bottlenecks, and bugs\nHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatization\nREQUIREMENTS\nCommitment to transforming and reimagining STEM education\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Master's degree a plus\nProficiency in developing object-oriented software, with deep experience in C# scripting\nDeep understanding of VR or equivalent development workflows using Unity\nExperience with profiling and optimizing C# codebase.\nA knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.\nExperience with source control (Git preferred)\nReceptive to an iterative design process with a willingness to participate in many areas of game\ndevelopment.\nHighly motivated and skilled at both working individually and collaborating with a team\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nEQUAL OPPORTUNITY WORKPLACE\nPrisms is an equal-opportunity employer committed to providing an equitable and inclusive work environment that ensures that all applicants and team members are treated with dignity and respect.
