Query and analyze data. Prepare reports and export data as needed.\r\nAssist system users as necessary, including providing support and training.\r\nCorrect and import data obtained from internal and external sources.\r\nSelect and implement systems that are consistent with City standards and goals.\r\nIdentify and correct system problems.\r\nPlan and schedule tasks and projects.\r\nTake personal responsibility to provide exceptional customer service in order to promote and maintain a positive City image, constructive working environment, and foster pride and professionalism in the workplace and community.\r\nSkills\r\nExtensive problem-solving skills\r\nAbility to manage projects of moderate complexity.\r\nWrite custom reports using common software such as SSRS.\r\nRead, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.\r\nWrite reports, business correspondence, and procedures.\r\nCommunicate with technical and non-technical people.\r\nDesign and deliver one-on-one and small group training.\r\nWrite simple programs using a common scripting or programming language.\r\nOrganize and summarize data in graphical and tabular formats.\r\nStrong interpersonal communication skills.\r\nQualifications\r\nStrong Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with coursework in business and information systems, and five (5) years of experience, preferably in a local/municipal government setting, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.\r\nTo Apply: Interested candidates should submit a completed application and/or resume to careers@wheaton.il.us\r\nThe City of Wheaton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
