Location: San Jose, California, United StatesJob SummarySupermicro is looking to hire ODM System Product Managers to manage ODM, customized and optimized Server Computer products for strategic major customers.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport Sales Team in technical fields of Server / ODM System business practicesSupport to define ODM customer requirements, develop and drive customized server productsWork with product development teams to realize ODM customer requests on server productsNew Product Introduction (NPI) management of sample/pilot-run production and support Production lines for smooth product deliveryDrive the sustaining ODM products from mass delivery to EOLSolicit and collect new requirements needed for Supermicro server productsLead cross-function teams for sustaining supports like RMA, Failure Analysis, ECO implementations, etc.Provide documentation and technical know-how to support ODM system productionQualificationsEducation: BS/MS EE, CE, CS, or other engineering fields preferredMust have at least 5 years of computer hardware related experiences. Experienced in configuring server systems are preferredExperiences in project management for OEM/ODM electronic appliances are okayStrong knowledge with computer hardware or data center network architecturesWork experiences in Electronics Manufacturers will be a plusAbility to work independently with customer but excellent in teamwork with colleaguesExcellent communication skills that can motivate project team members from cross-function departments at multiple-sites for ultimate customer satisfactionsPlease note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.Salary Range$89,000 - $150,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
