In this senior leadership role, you will manage a geographically distributed team of Interconnection Coordinators, drive critical project milestones from application through permission to operate, and serve as a subject-matter expert on utility policy, tariffs, and emerging grid programs across key U.S. markets.ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & CoordinationLead and manage a distributed team of Interconnection Coordinators operating across multiple utility territories nationwideMentor team members and foster a culture of professional growth, accountability, and continuous improvementCoordinate cross-departmentally with project finance, sales, and development teams to align on timelines and project statusInterconnection ManagementEnsure the team meets all critical interconnection milestones, including application submittals, execution of Interconnection Agreements, and Permission to OperateOversee management of large-load interconnection applications, with particular focus on industrial customers and data center developmentCommunicate interconnection timelines clearly and proactively to internal stakeholders across departmentsUtility Relationships & PolicyCultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at utilities across target marketsDevelop deep expertise in utility tariffs and interconnection rules in priority marketsStay ahead of emerging utility programs, policies, and regulatory developments to position the company advantageouslyStrategic Market IntelligenceDevelop advance knowledge of emerging markets, programs, and grid modernization initiativesAnalyze utility upgrade plans and infrastructure investment roadmaps to identify and target development opportunitiesSynthesize intelligence on utility landscape changes and translate findings into actionable development strategyQualificationsMinimum of 6 years of experience in electric utility interconnection, grid development, or related fieldDemonstrated knowledge of utility interconnection processes, tariffs, and regulatory frameworks across multiple U.S. marketsExperience managing or mentoring teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong cross-functional communicator with experience coordinating across development, finance, and operationsAbility to work remotely and operate effectively across multiple U.S. time zones on utilities' schedulesRequired SkillsExperience with large-load interconnection applications, including industrial facilities or hyperscale data centersEstablished relationships with utility interconnection staff and decision-makers in key marketsFamiliarity with emerging interconnection programs and FERC/state-level policy developmentsBackground in renewable energy, transmission planning, or distributed generationExperience in MA, MD, NY, and CAPay range and compensation packageSenior leadership role with direct impact on company growth and project pipeline.
