Federal Budget Consultant

Seeking a full-time Federal Budget Consultant for a multi-year contract, this remote position will manage the implementation of the CFO Control Tower Budget and Spend solution (BAS) for a federal customer, focusing on documenting budgetary processes, communicating federal budget policies, and creating functional design documents. Key responsibilities: Document and communicate budgetary processes and federal budget policies with the project team Create business requirements and functional design documents to support technical development of budgeting solutions Develop test plans and manage testing execution while conducting BAS solution demonstrations and presentations at all levels of a Federal Agency Required qualifications: Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain it 5+ years of experience in federal budget activities, including budget formulation and execution Knowledge of budgetary regulations, systems integration, and reporting Expertise in civilian federal budgeting and implementation across ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Momentum Experience in business process analysis and functional design of financial budgeting and reporting solutions
