We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our development team in our SANDY, UT office and help build, enhance, and maintain modern, scalable applications. The developer will write microservices using the Spring Framework.\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Java (latest versions preferred).\nCollaborate with project owners, business analysts, front-end developers, and QA teams.\nDesign, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.\nWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.\nParticipate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.\nOptimize application performance and scalability.\nIntegrate backend systems with databases and third-party services.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.\nStay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and development standards.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).\n3+ years of professional experience with Java (Java 8+ preferred).\nStrong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.\nExperience with Spring or Spring Boot frameworks.\nProficiency with RESTful API design and implementation.\nFamiliarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA).\nExperience with version control (Git) and Agile/Scrum development.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with microservices architecture.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nExperience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.\nExposure to front-end frameworks (Angular, React) is a plus.\nThe Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing backend systems and application logic using Java.
