This is not an IT or software project management position.\nWhat You'll Do\nServe as the primary point of contact and project lead for assigned client accounts\nManage client accounts, project setup, reporting requirements, and documentation within LIMS, CRM, and related systems\nCoordinate and oversee project workflows, priorities, and deliverables across field services, laboratory, and internal support teams\nMonitor project timelines, turnaround times, and deliverables to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and client expectations are consistently met\nReview work orders, reports, EDDs, invoices, and project documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance prior to release\nCommunicate project updates, priorities, timelines, and issue resolution between clients and internal teams while proactively managing expectations\nMaintain working knowledge of environmental laboratory services, regulatory programs, QA/QC requirements, analytical methods, and reporting standards\nSupport client onboarding activities, project planning discussions, client meetings, and laboratory tours as needed\nAssist with sample coordination, bottle orders, pickups, subcontract coordination, and related project support activities\nIdentify workflow improvement opportunities and contribute to process optimization, operational efficiency, and overall client satisfaction\nNotify clients of results exceeding regulatory limits in accordance with company procedures\nPerform additional duties as assigned\nRequirements:\nWhat We're Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Science, Business, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered\n1-2 years of experience managing client accounts, projects, or project workflows in a professional environment\nPrevious experience in an environmental, laboratory, or analytical testing environment strongly preferred\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software\nExperience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) preferred\nWhat this role is not:\nAn IT, software, or technical project management position\nA systems implementation or Agile/Scrum role\nA coding, development, or tech delivery job\nWork Schedule & Travel\nFull-time position following a standard Monday-Friday schedule\nFlexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed to support operational demands\nAbility be able to travel locally for client visits, meetings, or training activities, as needed\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive compensation\nComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage\n401(k) with company match\nCompany-paid life, AD&D, and disability insurance\nGenerous paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays\nPaid parental leave and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)\nTuition reimbursement and professional development support\nCareer growth opportunities within a nationwide organization\nOur Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion\nAt SPL, we believe that a diverse team is a strong team.
