This role involves implementing quality assurance activities, managing process changes, addressing quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nOversee and ensure quality management and control of the production line processes.\n\nImplement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards.\n\nEnsure all quality-related activities are performed in compliance with company standards and requirements.\n\nMonitor and manage quality activities including SPC (Statistical Process Control), FAI (First Article Inspection), MES (Manufacturing Execution System) inspection, CTQ (Critical to Quality) management, FIFO (First In, First Out), error prevention, rework, and equipment qualification.\n\nImplement lessons learned and horizontal measures to prevent recurrence of quality issues.\n\nSupport various process audits, including process audits and LPA (Layered Process Audit) audits.\n\nConduct quality risk identification and initiate quality improvement activities.\n\nManage changes in the production process and ensure effective implementation of process response plans.\n\nCoordinate with relevant teams to handle process changes smoothly.\n\nProvide training and support to enhance the team's overall competency.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.\n\n3+ years of experience in production quality control or quality assurance, particularly in the vehicle manufacturing industry.\n\nStrong knowledge of quality management systems and tools, including SPC, FAI, and MES.\n\nProficient in using quality analysis and improvement tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), 8D (8 Disciplines Problem Solving), Six Sigma, and SPC (Statistical Process Control).\n\nStrong data analysis and processing abilities.\n\nProficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position.\n\nAbility to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill level.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nAbility to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs.\n\nFlexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.\n\nCapability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds.\n\nOccasional lifting of heavier items may be required.\n\nAbility to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.\n\nWillingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportation\n\nCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.\n\nComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.\n\n401(k) retirement savings plan with company match.\n\nPaid time off and holidays.\n\nCATK is an Equal Opportunity Employer\n\nThe information contained herein is not intended to be anall-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor isit intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilitiesrequired to do the job.
