As a Network Engineer, you will:\n\nMaintain, Configure and Secure our client's network infrastructure;\nWork cross-functionally across our client's enterprises between technology and the rest of their business to design and implement large scale solutions; and\nImplement Prescient Solutions' best practices.\n\n*** The position is mostly remote, with project-based on-site requirements.***\n\nNetwork Engineer Essential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nSupports both operational and engineering functions at our client sites;\nTroubleshoots and maintains client's IT network 24/7;\nEvaluates customer generated requirements and works with the clients to ensure the implementation meets the clients' needs;\nWorks with technicians and engineering groups at both Prescient Solutions and at the client locations to troubleshoot and resolve issues as required;\nPrepares operational and technical documentation;\nMentors junior team members; and\nPerforms other duties and assists with special projects as needed.\n5 - 8 years of experience configuring, installing, supporting, and maintaining network hardware and software infrastructure including switches, routers and firewalls;\nProficient with Cisco Meraki-based networking;\nAble to work on-site in Pingree Grove, IL for projects;\nAble to balance multiple priorities concurrently; and\nAuthorized to work for any employer in the US.
