Some tasks may require utilizing SolidWorks, CAM software, CNC machines and operator performed programming\nReading blueprints and using necessary measuring devices to make or modify existing tooling, or tools for old or new job prints\nCreating die -making items and maintaining existing dies; including punches, dies, steel rule dies and die sets\nAssisting production area with troubleshooting machining processes and equipment problems\nWorking closely with engineering to create proto-type tooling and parts\nSetting up and operating all machines in tool room\nMaking set-up carts or process staging for any machine upon request, providing print is given out in sufficient time to prepare said carts; using tools that are safe and in good repair\nUtilizing hydraulic and air clamping systems\nUnderstanding and performing to quality standards, methods, usage of inspection devices and reporting as required\nUnderstanding and completing labor or time sheets accurately NOTE: This list presents only the principal duties of the position and is not intended to be comprehensive.
