{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"53581cf6fccea570255facc4","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/53581cf6fccea570255facc4","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/53581cf6fccea570255facc4","title":"Wire Harness Assembler","description":"The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in support of manufacturing of space flight sub-systems and support equipment.\n\n* Wire harness routing experience\n* Building electrical parts from start to finish, soldering PCB circuit boards, etc.\n* J-Standard training/knowledge\n* Understanding/working from wiring diagrams.\n* Electro-Mechanical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis\n* Assemble Electro-Mechanical assemblies by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications, and written assembly, and standard operating procedures\n* Use precision calibrated tools – torque wrenches, micrometers and calipers\n* Perform visually inspect of Electro-Mechanical assemblies to drawings, engineering specifications, and written assembly, integration and test procedures\n* Ensure product quality and conformance to specifications\n* Document non-conformances and associated rework/repair\n* Soldering and reworking of through-hole and SMT components\n* Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating\n\n\\*\\*Ability to fabricate wire bundles and then route - NO harnesses to follow!!\n\n* Minimum of High School Diploma or GED\n* More than 3 years of experience reading blueprints, working with manufacturing plans, and reviewing instructions for aerospace manufacturing processes\n* 3 years of experience in electronics, electro-mechanical and printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies\n* Capable of lifting 20lbs or more on a frequent basis\n* Ability to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods of time with only short breaks\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\n\n* More than 3 years of experience in Electro-Mechanical assembly on high reliability products\n* More than 3 years of experience working with ESD, IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards\n* More than 3 years of experience with soldering\n* More than 5 years of experience building a variety of component-level space products (e.g. avionics boxes, batteries, mechanisms, optics, printed circuit board assemblies, solar arrays, etc.)\n* More than 3 years of experience using structures hand tools, test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers\n* More than 3 years of experience working in a Clean Room environment\n* More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment\n* Currently hold a IPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certification\n* More than 3 years of experience using basic Microsoft Office and office computing systems\n\nPay: $34.00 -
