Warehouse Associate/Forklift
The Warehouse Associate performs receiving, stock keeping, picking, packing and shipping activities. Also responsible for counter sales, housekeeping and related quality assurance activities.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES• Handle all incoming shipments.• Perform verification of purchased products and enter order receipts into WESCOs computer system.• Perform quality assurance inspections when appropriate.• Place received material, after segregating backorders, into proper warehouse storage locations.Racks and or bins.• Assist in loading the trucks.• Clean warehouse and trucking/parking area.• Assemble and disassemble bins, racks, shelves and tables as needed.JOB REQUIREMENTSEDUCATIONHigh School Degree or EquivalentSKILLS/REQUIREMENTS1. Basic computer skills2. Reach truck operator3. Order picker operator4. Sit down lift operator5. RF scannerWORKING ENVIRONMENTWarehouse - Work is generally performed in a warehouse environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Generally well ventilated and well lighted. Warehouse employees required to ware steel toe shoes and safety vest. Strict safety regulations may be required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWork is physically strenuous and workers are required to lift heavy packages up to 50 pounds. Employee required to use hand tools.Shift - Monday-Friday7:30am til 4:00pm or until finished.
