In this role you will design, build, and continuously improve automation frameworks, write production-quality test code, and partner with development teams to embed quality engineering throughout the SDLC. The ideal candidate will combine strong programming skills with deep knowledge of testing strategy, including unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and security testing in modern distributed systems. In this role you will work closely with cross-functional partners — product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders — to translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions, and will be expected to raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers. The successful candidate brings strong engineering discipline, a clear communication style, and a track record of shipping meaningful work that holds up well in production.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nFive or more years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles.\nStrong programming skills in at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.\nHands-on experience with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).\nSolid experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.\nWorking knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.\nSolid SQL skills and experience with database validation.\nStrong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and modern web architectures.\nExcellent debugging, communication, and documentation skills.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with contract testing tools (Pact, Spring Cloud Contract).\nHands-on performance testing with JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust.\nExposure to security testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Snyk).\nFamiliarity with chaos engineering and resilience testing.\nISTQB or equivalent QA certification.\n\nHow to Apply\n\nWould you like to know more about this opportunity?
