You will define technology strategy and set the technical direction for software projects while serving as a mentor to others on the team. The ability to prioritize projects and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization are keys to success!Responsibilities/Expectations:Leads the design and implementation of sophisticated software features and modules, including hands-on development, testing, and debuggingCollaborates with multi-functional teams to define technical requirementsProvides technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developersContributes to the documentation of software solutions and processesDesigns and architects scalable, secure, and maintainable applications leveraging Databricks, cloud platforms, AI capabilities, and enterprise integration patternsPartners with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into solution designs, technical specifications, and implementation plansDevelops and maintains applications, APIs, and data solutions using Databricks, Python, SQL, and modern development frameworksImplements AI-enabled solutions utilizing machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, vector search, and other emerging technologies to solve business challengesOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: High school diploma/GED, vocational/technical/ business school, and a minimum of eight (8) years of software development experiencePreferred: Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or related fieldOther Requirements:Demonstrates outstanding organizational/communication skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office ApplicationsExpertise in one or more programming languages and frameworksIn-depth knowledge of software architecture and design patternsExperience with performance profiling and optimizationStrong analytical and critical-thinking abilitiesProven experience in leading software projectsDomain Expertise in Midstream Gathering and ProcessingAny experience with the data models of FlowCal, PI, Maximo, or GasKit would be a plusRealtime data ingestion from SCADA into Azure Data Lake / Databricks Unity would be useful for future development3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks and cloud-based data platformsProficiency in querying and crafting databases, Responsible for designing, coding, testing and maintaining software applications.
