This role offers the unique opportunity to expand your trade knowledge by training in plumbing work alongside excavation tasks. Ideal for someone looking to broaden their skill set and grow within the company.Key Responsibilities:Operate excavators and other heavy machinery (e.g., backhoes, skid steers) safely and efficientlyPerform site prep, trenching, grading, and backfillingWork closely with plumbing crews to assist with underground utility and pipe installationsLearn plumbing trade skills including pipe fitting, layout, and repairsMaintain and inspect equipment daily for safe operationFollow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all site regulationsRequirements:2+ years experience operating heavy machinery, particularly excavatorsStrong understanding of excavation practices and job site safetyValid driver's license (CDL a plus)Willingness to learn plumbing trade (no experience required - training provided)Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditionsStrong work ethic, reliability, and team mindsetPreferred Qualifications:OSHA 10/30 certificationExperience on residential or commercial job sitesBasic knowledge of plumbing systems (a plus, not required)
