They are the major functions for which the person assigned to this position is held accountable.As a Shop Foreman at Titan Solutions, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for managing efficient workflow within the shop and field services. We are looking for a leader to help manage workflow and technicians in an effective and efficient manner while ensuring that all repairs are performed to industry standards.Essential Functions:Maintain a standard of cleanliness and organization to enhance shop appearanceAssist with mentoring and training new hires in the departmentAssist in training and development of service personnelMaintain quality control and professional appearance of all shop service workPromote additional cost savings via repairs and field service, i.e. filters, P.M. programs, system upgrades, etc.Oversee field service technician to schedule all preventative services on customer locations and shopCoordinate with the Equipment Manager to ensure on-time delivery of rental equipmentManage shop assets, including vehicles, machines, installations, tools, and parts room suppliesMaintaining budget and monthly expense trackingMonitor workloads, schedule service appointments, and dispatch work ordersDocumentation of all repairs and monitoring of upcoming inspections and service intervalsDiagnosing all machine systems and componentsPerform wheel end and brake repairs on trailers ranging from 3,500 12,000lb axlesEnsure that the units are in safe operating condition.Perform basic welding, cutting, and grindingChange oil and filters on machineryRead and understand parts and service booksAble to interact professionally and courteously with customersPerform shop labor estimates and quote in-house repairs, and upon approval, purchase the necessary repair parts or replacement components.Communicate when repairs will be completedPerforms other duties as required by fleet managerPrimary contact for all service-related phone calls for ColoradoKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesSkills and Abilities5+ years of industry related experience in the oil and gas industry strongly preferredGeneral knowledge of the rules and regulations in accordance with 49 CFR part 396Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safe working practicesStrong management, leadership and interpersonal skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsDevelop and maintain long-term relationships with vendorsValid driver's license, CDL / medical card preferredSafeland certificationProvide necessary tools to perform job dutiesObserves safety and security proceduresEducationHigh School Diploma or GED required, strong math skills requiredASE certifications A1-A8 / T1-T8 preferredJob Experience5+ years of industry related experience in the oil and gas industry strongly preferred5+ years fleet / asset management including performing DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles (semi-trucks/trailers)Computer Proficiency: Computer skills and a familiarity with Microsoft Office suite programsTrainingProvide required training as neededWorking ConditionsPhysical RequirementsCapability of lifting 70 lbs. repeatedlyLong periods of standing, driving, crouching, lifting and bendingCapability to work in extreme weather conditions such as heat/cold/wind/rain/snow.Must pass pre-employment fit testTravel RequirementsMay be required out of town/state.
