Job Description Job Summary -We are seeking an experienced and reliable Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles and construction equipment. This role is essential to keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Key Responsibilities -Perform routine maintenance and inspections on company vehicles and equipment (e.g., trucks, skid steers, pavers, rollers)Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and recommend corrective actionsComplete repairs including engine work, brake systems, electrical wiring, hydraulic components, and preventive maintenanceMaintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and parts inventory logsOrder parts, supplies, and materials needed for repairsOperate diagnostic tools and equipment safely and effectivelyEnsure shop area and tools are clean, organized, and maintainedAssist with emergency repairs in the field as neededComply with all company safety policies and OSHA regulationsCommunicate clearly with supervisors and operators about equipment status and repairsPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
