This position will perform a variety of professional civil engineering duties and will report directly to the Project Manager.Key Responsibilities:Grading and Drainage PermitsMinor & Major SubdivisionsUtility SystemsVineyard DevelopmentComputation of gradesEarthwork quantitiesMaterials estimatesDesign and hydraulic calculations for water and sanitary sewer systemsDrainage analysisTechnical writing and preparation of engineering reportsProject site visits, construction observation, and stormwater samplingQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringCivil design experience (2 to 5+ Years preferred)Proficient in many aspects of civil engineering, including civil design work, computing grades, earthwork quantities, designing and calculating hydraulics, writing technical reports, and conducting tasks in the field, etc.Proficient using AutoCAD and Civil 3D softwareExperience using Microsoft Office, Word, and ExcelCalifornia Engineer-in-Training (EIT) PreferredAdditional InformationCompetitive salary and benefits package ($75,000 - $95,000 based on experience)Comprehensive medical plan options for employees & dependents401(k) savings plan9/80 schedule option with every other Friday offGenerous paid holidays and personal time offProfit sharing program & performance bonusesProfessional license reimbursement benefits for California Professional EngineerWellness ProgramOffice events and partiesOpportunity to work with a team of experienced professionalsChallenging and rewarding work environment
