This position coordinates referrals, admissions, and intake processes while serving as the primary point of contact for prospective clients, families, and referral partners. The Client Access Coordinator ensures timely admissions, accurate documentation, and a welcoming, person-centered experience for all individuals entering services.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAdmissions & Intake\nCoordinate admissions for residential, outpatient, and recovery residence programs.\nReceive and manage referrals by phone, email, fax, and in person.\nSchedule intake appointments and admission interviews.\nComplete nonclinical admission paperwork, releases of information, funding forms, and required documentation.\nEnter and maintain client information in the electronic health record.\nCoordinate counselor assignments and communicate admission information to the treatment team.\nMaintain treatment group rosters, waitlists, and recovery residence occupancy lists.\nRespond to inquiries from prospective clients, families, referral sources, and community partners.\nEducate prospective clients and referral partners about ANEW's programs, services, and admission process.\nBuild and maintain relationships with referral sources and community organizations.\nParticipate in outreach and community engagement activities as assigned.\nEnsure admission processes comply with agency policies and Minnesota 245G requirements.\nCollaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient admissions and continuity of care.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in human services, business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.\nExperience in healthcare, behavioral health, admissions or administrative support preferred.\nStrong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.\nExperience working with diverse populations.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records (Procentive preferred).\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.\nCurrent CPR/First Aid certification and a valid driver's license preferred.\nAbout ANEW\nANEW is a proud women-owned and women-led organization dedicated to empowering women in the Twin Cities through compassionate, client-centered services.
