Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers’ critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.\nJob Summary & Responsibilities\nThe Material Handler Lead is responsible for managing the second shift of Material Handlers\nThe Material Handler Lead is responsible for several activities, including keeping team up to date on work order picking ensuring all items are received and put away properly, resolving errors on inventory transactions, maintaining system accuracy for all inventories including 3rd party location, and continuing to reorganize warehouse to ensure picking efficacy and accuracy.\nThe Material Handler Lead is required to monitor, resolve, and report all slow and obsolete inventories, as well as communicating with management and all internal and external auditors as required.\nThe Material Handler Lead will collaborate with other departments and participate in cross functional meetings with production planners, material planners, and material handlers, and finance to thoroughly examine processes or issues that negatively impact inventory management.\nThe Material Handler Lead will recommend corrective actions to improve inventory performance and utilization, as well as guaranteeing that efficient and robust inventory controls are in place.\nResponsibilities will include planning and reporting on the progress of inventory reduction initiatives and championing inventory issues across several functional units, including Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Finance.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree (B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university desired; Associate degree (A.S.) or equivalent from two-year College or military equivalent, may be acceptable when combined with a minimum of four years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nERP system experience\nLean Manufacturing knowledge desired\nOnto Innovation Inc. offers competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, including health/dental/vision/life/disability, PTO, 401K plan with employer match, and an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) along with health & wellness initiatives.
