The scope of this contract is to replace the Minuteman III missile.\r\nThe software engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g. processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.\r\nQualifications:\r\nClearance Level:U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain SAP access; Active Secret clearance with investigation/adjudicated within the past 6 years.\r\nEducation:Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline.\r\nExperience:\r\nSWE 0: No experience required.\r\nSWE 1: 5 years' experience.\r\nSWE 2: 10 years' experience.\r\nSWE 3: 15 years' experience.\r\n4 years of additional experience may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree.\r\nRequired:\r\n-Experience in software development in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java or C++.\r\n-Experience with UI design and development, or experience Interpreting complex algorithms and requirements for implementation.\r\n-Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and concepts, including Cameo.\r\nPreferred:\r\n• Proficiency in Agile, C/C++, JAVA/JS expertise and real-time processing including: processes threads, scheduling, synchronization mechanisms and memory management required.\r\n• Experience in the use of Atlassian tools\r\n• Experience with full software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug and maintenance required\r\n• Experience with JIRA/Confluence\r\n• Experience with safety critical and nuclear critical software development (DO-178C, AFMAN 91-119, DO-330, etc.)\r\n• Familiarity with a structured process driven software development environment including peer reviews of all work products, using a revision control system, defect tracking and build release practices required\r\n• Experience with development drivers and middleware (RTOS, Linux and/or VxWorks) and anti-tampering (cryptographic, secure comms, logging, SW deployment) is preferred\r\n• Experience with Git products.\r\n• Experience with applied automated testing techniques including unit and integration testing.\r\n• Experience with test framework/application and system verificationBenefits at Sentar:\r\nOur unique ownership model attracts top talent, giving employees the freedom to take initiative and drive meaningful improvements.
