ASK US ABOUT THE SIGNING BONUS AFTER 90 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT DURING YOUR INTERVIEW !!! Job Responsibilities · Provide logistical support daily for both inbound and outbound shipments. Material schedule must be maintained throughout the day to provide accurate information and ETA’s to operations and accounting staff. · Monitor all company drivers on tracking software, provide information of arrivals and delays to customers and operations in real time. · Maintain company records of roll off container assets in the field and their condition. · Analyze the financial impact of logistical processes and contracts to determine maximum efficiency and value in terms of routing, transportation modes, and resources while continuing to meet customer requirements. · Adhere to and create policies, safety procedures, risk management programs, and supply chain processes as needed. · Ensure carriers, shipping and receiving personnel, and other logistical areas comply with safety standards legal requirements, and customer specifications. · Maintain courteous and professional relationships with all suppliers, consumers, drivers and carriers. Job Skills & Qualifications Required: · High school diploma or GED · At least 2 years’ experience in similar field · Ability to work independently, including making decisions affecting company resources. · Excellent problem-solving abilities along with oral and written communication skills · Proficiency in Microsoft office. Experience with inventory management software and scheduling software is preferred. · Scrap Metal or Waste Removal experience preferred. · Reliable transportation. Travel to other facilities may be required on occasion. Must be able to pass background check and drug screening. We are GLE Scrap Metal!
