Irrigation ManagerThe Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.Job SummaryThe Irrigation Manager (IM) schedules and directs personnel and resources towards providing quality, cost-effective irrigation services to clients. IMs also support the Account Manager(s) in estimating, design, and client meetings as needed. IMs will also sell irrigation services to clients, with or without base maintenance contracts, on their own. The Irrigation Manager will oversee a commercial landscape portfolio and multiple service teams. The Irrigation Manager will be responsible for training and developing these individuals and providing day-to-day operational scheduling and guidance.Duties and Responsibilities:Understand client needs via regular communication with the Account Manager(s)Manage all irrigation services, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors required to produce quality workInspect properties before scheduled service to properly prepare a specific action plan for serviceMonitor all aspects of the irrigation system and identify any problems after installation and servicesPerform hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demandsWork with the Branch Manager to identify staffing needs, hire new crew members, and prepare daily crew schedulesEnsure proper paperwork is completed for all employee changes and new hiresCommunicate with, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop a growth plan for employeesHands-on training and support of crew members, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standardsFocus on safety and monitor safety recordsMaintain and manage all required administrative systems, including but not limited to time sheets, job databases, and service schedulesOrder materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveriesRequest purchase orders and use in accordance with company guidelinesAssist the Branch Manager in the performance of irrigation sales tasks as requiredEducation and Experience:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience requiredMinimum of 3 years customer service, management, and leadership experience in an organization, the landscaping industry, or local marketplace, including 1-2 years supervisory experienceObtain and maintain certifications and licenses needed to perform work in the local marketPhysical Demands/Requirements:Operation of a computer and other office equipment/system, such as a laptop, cell phonePosition is a combination of mobile and sedentary work; must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of timePossess strong stamina and have the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.Able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stand, walk continuously throughout the dayYou are able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g., safety shoes, high-visibility clothing, hand protection, eye protection, hearing protection, head protection)Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur.Work Environment:Ability to work outdoors/indoors in moderate to extreme weather conditions (e.g., temperatures more than 100F, temperatures below 32F, various levels of humidity)Ability to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.Work outdoors near automotive traffic, bodies of water, fumes, dust, mechanical and/or electrical hazards.Ability to work in environments where extended periods of loud noise are present.Ability to work in environments where exposure to allergens such as pollen and rag weed, insects such as bees and spiders and reptiles such as lizards and snakes.BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.This job description is subject to change at any time.Compensation Pay Range:$70,304-90,000BrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
