The manager is responsible for building a high‑performing engineering organization, developing scalable test capabilities, driving continuous process improvements, and ensuring successful execution of engineering and customer milestones.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of Integration & Test Engineers and Test Technicians.\n\nPlan, prioritize, and assign engineering activities across multiple programs and product lines.\n\nManage staffing, hiring, performance management, career development, and employee growth.\n\nOversee system integration, functional verification, qualification, environmental testing, and production acceptance testing activities.\n\nDevelop and execute integration and test strategies that support engineering development and production objectives.\n\nDrive resolution of complex hardware, software, FPGA, and system‑level integration issues.\n\nCollaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, FPGA, Embedded Software, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management throughout the product lifecycle.\n\nEnsure test procedures, documentation, reports, and engineering artifacts meet customer and quality requirements.\n\nOversee development and maintenance of automated test systems, laboratory infrastructure, and production test equipment.\n\nManage engineering schedules, priorities, budgets, and resource allocation to support program execution.\n\nLead continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing test throughput, reducing cycle time, improving quality, and expanding automation.\n\nSupport design reviews, technical reviews, risk assessments, root cause investigations, and corrective actions.\n\nCoordinate environmental testing activities including thermal cycling, thermal vacuum (TVAC), vibration, shock, burn‑in, and qualification testing.\n\nEnsure laboratory equipment, test assets, and engineering facilities are maintained and available to support program needs.\n\nInterface directly with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers during technical meetings, program reviews, and test events.\n\nSupport proposal efforts, basis of estimates (BOEs), new business activities, and technical planning.\n\nSupport occasional travel and off‑site testing activities as required.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n\n9+ years of experience in integration, test, systems engineering, hardware development, or related engineering disciplines.\n\n2+ years of engineering leadership or people management experience.\n\nExperience integrating and testing complex embedded electronic systems.\n\nExperience troubleshooting hardware, embedded software, FPGA, and system‑level issues.\n\nExperience developing and executing engineering verification and qualification test plans.\n\nExperience with laboratory instrumentation including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, electronic loads, digital multimeters, and communication analyzers.\n\nExperience leading cross‑functional engineering teams in a collaborative development environment.\n\nStrong understanding of engineering development processes, requirements verification, and technical documentation.\n\nExcellent communication, leadership, organizational, and project management skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nMaster's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.\n\nExperience supporting space, aerospace, defense, or other high‑reliability electronic systems.\n\nExperience with environmental qualification testing including TVAC, vibration, shock, EMI/EMC, and burn‑in.\n\nExperience with automated test development using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar tools.\n\nExperience with production acceptance testing and manufacturing support.\n\nExperience with configuration management, requirements management, Jira, Git, or similar engineering tools.\n\nDemonstrated ability to build, mentor, and grow high‑performing engineering organizations.\n\nPay Information\nFull‑Time Salary Range: $101,000 -
