Azure Cloud Admin12mo+ Contract Opportunity!All Candidates must be local to the Dallas / Fort Worth, TX Metropolitan areasUS Citizen, Green CardFinancial DomainThis is an Opportunity for a Windows / Azure Cloud Administrator to work for an outstanding Financial Company in the Irving, TX area.The Windows / Azure Cloud Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, upkeep and operation of both physical and cloud servers and associated applications in an enterprise environment. They are involved in troubleshooting and problem resolution and will diagnose and resolve problems quickly. The individual should be able to communicate technical concerns and solutions to their team and provide workable solutions. They are also responsible for the installing and upgrading software, installing, and rebuilding existing servers and will have opportunities to deploy server infrastructure as code in a cloud environment. This technical role includes duties across the entire server lifecycle and is key to providing stable platforms that meet the enterprise requirements for performance.This role will be joining a collaborative work environment with an emphasis on technical development, work life balance and employee recognition. This challenging and rewarding position provides many new opportunities to develop and grow in any number of areas related to the operations of an IT organization.Responsibilities:Configure and Manage AppLocker resourcesUpgrade Windows 2012 serversConfigure and support Azure Cloud environmentProblem investigation, troubleshooting and resolutionIdentify, recommend, and implement process improvement opportunities where applicableMaintain security standards, configuration compliance, patch managementManage system infrastructure including Active Directory, Windows Server, Azure EntraID, Network, Backups and other software and hardwareMonitor systems and respond quickly to any usability concernsBuilding Servers, Installing Applications and Upgrade systems as neededAssist in integrating new applications and technologies into the current systemPerform other duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS 8+ years of experience in Information Systems and/or Technology Delivery services with emphasis in Windows Server AdministrationPreferred knowledge of technologies: Azure Cloud ServicesMicrosoft Server AdministrationEntraID/Active Directory (Domain Services, Group Policy)Scripting languages (PowerShell)Microsoft System Center (SCCM, SCOM, Defender Endpoint Protections)Excellent customer service and communication skillsProven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to learn new information in a timely mannerSupport a 24/7 systems environment including evenings and weekends as neededBachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS preferred.
