We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to embrace work assignments aimed at maintaining and optimizing the WordPress environment. Responsibilities: · Collaborate with a team of professionals to create innovative and captivating WordPress sites that are both intuitive and highly effective. · Ensure the maintenance of high code quality that strictly adheres to community standards for accessibility, CSS coding, PHP coding, HTML coding, JavaScript coding, and Semantic HTML5 standards using a consistent markdown style guide. · Optimize website templates for SEO strategies and techniques outlined by in-house marketing. · Take charge of work assignments aimed at maintaining and improving the WordPress environment. Demonstrate a proactive approach in collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and user stories. · Code websites that support internal business requirements and complement visual content that drives stakeholder engagement, confidence, and brand recognition. · Think strategically and come up with creative and innovative solutions for complex situations. · Guarantee optimal performance and uninterrupted availability, while overseeing all technical facets of the CMS. · Working knowledge of plugin and theme creation and customization, front-end and backend development capabilities. · Skilled in efficiently organizing, maintaining, and securing databases. Who You Are: · A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred. · Strong portfolio showcasing completed WordPress projects, custom theme creation, and plugin development. · Excel in navigating changing deadlines within a fast-paced environment, equipped with strong project management skills and the ability to lead projects from concept to completion effectively. · Thorough comprehension of media tools and strategies, including media databases. · Robust organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. · Team player who is comfortable working collaboratively with every department in a fast-paced environment. · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to look beyond a typical solution. Physical Requirements: · Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, walk, balance, reach with hands and arms, use fingers and wrists, and talk and hear. · Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
