Lou Lou's Tavern is a brand-new restaurant at The Refinery. We're bringing elevated tavern culture to Charleston. A place built on community, music, crave-able food, and epic hospitality.
We are currently building our Opening Kitchen Team and we're looking for a talented Sous Chef ready to help build something special from day one.
This is more than another kitchen job, this is an opportunity to help shape the culture, standards, energy, and execution of one of Charleston's most exciting new restaurant openings.

This is a full time leadership position with strong growth opportunity as the brand expands.
What You'll Do
Lead daily kitchen operations alongside Executive Chefs & management
Support hiring, training, and development of the opening BOH team
Maintain consistency, quality, and execution during service
Uphold sanitation, safety, and organization standards
Assist with prep systems, inventory, ordering, and scheduling
Drive culture and accountability in the kitchen
Help refine systems and build efficient operations from the ground up
What We're Looking For
2+ years of kitchen leadership experience
Strong line experience in high-volume environments
Positive leadership style with calm communication
Passion for hospitality and team culture
High standards for cleanliness, presentation, and consistency
Ability to lead by example during busy services
Experience with opening teams is a plus
