{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"52ab26c9ed0b45df2fd04cd8","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/52ab26c9ed0b45df2fd04cd8","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/52ab26c9ed0b45df2fd04cd8","title":"Facilities Process Chemical Engineer","description":"Chemical Engineering Professional Intermediate\nAbout the Job\n\nDuration: Long term Contract (possibility of extension)\n\nPay rate: Hourly, depending on experience\n\nJob ID: 24020\n\nResponsibilities:\nJob responsibilities include\n\nAs an entry-level/intermediate Facilities Process Chem Engineer in Boise, ID you will work on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ research and development, testing, and manufacturing.\n\nYou and the other team members will work closely with client stake holders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing tools, tenant improvements, and core facility infrastructure upgrades.\n\nResponsibilities include design and layout for piping, equipment layout, and tools in some of the most complex, densely packed industrial facilities on the planet.\n\nThe design may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification, and support during construction and integration into the factory.\n\nTechnical engineering responsibilities include design and oversight for piping and equipment related to water, wastewater, process chemicals and gasses.\n\nYou and the other team members will work closely with client for design deliverables and produce construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing tools and facilities infrastructure.\n\nQualifications:\nEducation:\nHere’s what you’ll need\n\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University\n\nAt least 1 year of practical application of chemical/mechanical facilities engineering, including ultrapure water, chemical distribution, gas distribution, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, waste drains, pumps, tank storage/design and related chemical/mechanical facilities systems\n\nAt least 1 year of design project delivery processes experience\n\nAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nStrong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience\n\nIdeally, you will also have:\n\nAt least 1 year of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms\n\nProficient working knowledge of AutoCAD software\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nForward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas\n\nDemonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base\n\nPassion for buildings and construction\n\n1 year field experience\n\nEIT\n\nAbout our Company\nDataSoft Technologies is a highly recognized provider of professional IT Consulting services in the US.
