In this position, you will play a key role in strategic program management, overseeing and coordinating multiple projects, products, and initiatives across a select program. You will be tasked with improving project efficiencies, tracking long-term goals, and developing program and project budgets. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of performance and operations management to optimize productivity and employee satisfaction.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and adjust long and short-term project plans.\nPrepare reports and briefings on program status, policies and procedures, in support of acquisition program milestones.\nMaintain a stringent quality control standard on the production of deliverables, ensuring adherence to expected standards and policy compliance while fostering a culture of excellence, consistency, and reliability.\nAnalyze effectiveness and efficiency of program; develop recommendations to improve program operations.\nAdjust technical support to meet emergencies, changing projects, or production requirements within available resources and without sacrifice to completeness and accuracy.\nInterpret regulatory directives, oversee contract compliance, and coordinate essential program information with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee a unified and effectively communicated strategy.\nRespond to data calls and inquiries on program policies and procedures.\nResearch ways to eliminate program bottlenecks and barriers to production; support government counterparts (customers) in development of solutions to program issues.\nManage program cost, schedule, performance, and risks in accordance with policies and procedures; formulate proposed mitigations as necessary.\nFoster and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors by identifying and implementing procurement strategies that align with client needs to cultivate beneficial partnerships.\nSupervise, mentor and manage internal Team Leads.\nRequirements\n10+ years leading diverse teams with 14 or more direct reports in the commercial or defense contract environment.\n10+ years of experience successfully managing complex projects or government programs as a Program Manager, Project Manager or Site Lead (collective experience in these roles is acceptable)\nCertified Program Management Professional (PMP), or in lieu of Project Management certified, with the ability to obtain PMP within 6 months of hire.
