We are hiring an experienced, licensed electrician to support our multifamily residential communities in the Rochester area. This is a service-focused role involving troubleshooting, aluminum wiring remediation, and outlet/circuit installations in occupied apartments and common areas. All candidates must have good customer and team communications skills as well as possessing a positive attitude.
What You’ll Do
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in apartments and common areas
Perform aluminum wiring remediation using approved methods
Install outlets, switches, fixtures, breakers, and circuits
Diagnose panel, grounding, and load issues
Ensure all work is code-compliant and inspection-ready
Must be familiar with the current edition of the NEC
Must be able to read blueprints
Communicate professionally with residents and site staff
Document work performed and materials used
What We’re Looking For
Licensed Electrician (NYS or municipal preferred)
5–10+ years experience in residential or multifamily service work
Strong troubleshooting skills; able to work independently
Aluminum wiring remediation experience strongly preferred
Valid driver’s license; clean driving record
Professional, resident-friendly demeanor
Must be professional, respectful, and serve as a mentor and trainer to others. Maintain a safe working environment by following all company rules and OSHA safety standards.
Candidates should be comfortable performing these and related undertakings with minimal supervision and able to work independently. Company service vehicle provided.
