Maintenance Technician

Maintenance TechnicianApartment Services, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at our residential properties. This role includes general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances. We're looking for a reliable, skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:Complete service requests/work orders within 24 hoursPerform general repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentryPrepare apartments for new residents, including move-in readiness and repairsMaintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the propertyInspect and troubleshoot building systems, including safety and alarm equipmentDocument maintenance activity and report issues to the Service SupervisorKeep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and fully stockedFollow all company policies, safety procedures, and Fair Housing regulationsProvide excellent customer service to residents and team membersAssist with snow removal, salting, and emergency weather responsePerform other duties as assignedOn-Call Requirement: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule. Must respond within 15 minutes by phone and 30 minutes in person when on call.Qualifications:2+ years of apartment or property maintenance (or related) experienceWorking knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairsAbility to use hand and power tools safely and effectivelyStrong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and reliable transportation (vehicle required during shifts)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (climbing, bending, kneeling)Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditionsWillingness to work at multiple properties as neededReliable phone and email communicationSchedule: Full-time position.
