Factory Supervisor

Factory SupervisorThe Factory Supervisor will be responsible for providing dedicated frontline leadership to hourly associates and contract workers, supporting production operations within a customer manufacturing environment. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of labor services by maintaining consistent floor presence, coaching employees, and proactively addressing operational issues. This position is not dedicated to a production line and is focused on leadership, coordination, and performance oversight to ensure operational stability and customer satisfaction. The Supervisor is responsible for setting priorities and allocating resources needed to complete all tasks to ensure projects are completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and plans.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipProvides real-time oversight of production floor activities across multiple linesCoordinates staffing assignments to ensure proper coverage and line balanceMonitors workflow and escalates issues impacting production, efficiency, or staffingPartners with customer leadership to align on daily priorities and production needsQuality AssuranceReinforces adherence to standard work and operating proceduresPerforms routine quality checks and ensures containment of defectsIdentifies trends and collaborates on corrective actions to improve consistencySafety and CompliancePromotes and enforces a strong safety cultureConducts regular safety observations and address at-risk behaviorsEnsures compliance with site safety policies and reporting requirements.People Leadership and DevelopmentOnboards and trains new associates to ensure readiness and complianceProvide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance managementMonitors attendance, engagement, and employee performanceFosters a positive and accountable work environmentProblem Solving and Continuous ImprovementResponds quickly to production disruptions or workforce challengesIdentifies operational inefficiencies and recommends improvementsSupports implementation of process enhancements and best practicesQualificationsEducationAssociate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Business ExperienceMinimum 5 years of supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment. Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced operational setting, strong communication and problem solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to dynamic production needs.Licenses/CertificationsLanguage SkillsAbility to read and comprehend instructions, including, but not limited to, safety policies, procedure manuals, and maintenance specifications. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.Technical Qualifications & SkillsRequires experience with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and CMMSPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, crouch and crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and /or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Work EnvironmentHigh and low bay lab environment inside P&G research and development center.
