Metal Fabrication Productivity SpecialistLinde Gas & Equipment Inc. | Washington StateLinde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Metal Fabrication Productivity Specialist with deep knowledge of welding and fabrication processes to support our customers’ operational performance and drive strategic sales growth. In this role, you will serve as a technical advisor and commercial partner—identifying productivity opportunities, recommending optimized welding solutions, and supporting customers in improving throughput, quality, and cost efficiency across their fabrication operations. As an exempt role, occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required to support customer schedules, onsite evaluations, and business needs.What We OfferCompetitive compensationComprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, and more)401(k) Retirement Savings PlanPaid time off (vacation, holidays, PTO)Employee discount programsCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesAdditional compensation opportunities based on role and levelPay Range: $108,225 - $128,730 yearly based on experience.What You Will Be DoingConduct detailed on‑site assessments of customer fabrication processes, welding procedures, consumable usage, and workflow efficiencyIdentify productivity improvements through optimized gases, consumables, welding parameters, automation readiness, and process standardizationDeliver technical product demonstrations, performance evaluations, and competitive comparisonsAnalyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to support territory strategyDevelop value‑based proposals that quantify cost savings, throughput gains, and quality improvementsCollaborate with sales, engineering, and operations teams to align solutions with customer requirementsSupport additional technical and commercial initiatives as neededLead the full sales cycle for automated capital equipment including robotics, welding automation, CNC automation, and material‑handling systemsPerform on‑site evaluations to identify production bottlenecks and automation opportunitiesCreate ROI models, cost‑benefit analyses, and productivity improvement justifications for capital investmentsProvide system walk‑throughs, automation demonstrations, and technical evaluationsWork with engineering teams to design system configurations, layouts, and integration plansWhat Makes You GreatAssociate degree in welding technology or similar is required; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred7+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in welding, fabrication, or industrial equipmentStrong technical understanding of welding processes (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW), shielding gases, consumables, and fabrication workflowsPrior industry experience requiredWelding Inspector or Welding Educator certification preferredProven negotiation and value‑selling skillsHigh integrity and a strong commitment to safetyAbility to build trust, influence decisions, and collaborate across teamsResults‑driven mindset with strong accountabilityWhy you will enjoy working with us:Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $33 billion.Linde Gas & Equipment Inc.
