Team members will support the installation, integration, power distribution, grounding, testing, and startup of mission-critical radar systems at FAA facilities nationwide.Work LocationRemote with nationwide travel requiredClearancePublic TrustUS Citizenship required to successfully complete a government investigationOpen PositionsJunior Installation Technicians – HS diploma with 0–2 years of experienceIntermediate Installation Technicians – HS diploma with 3+ years of experienceLicensed Electricians / Installation Technicians – HS diploma with 3+ years of experience and active electrician certificationSummaryThese roles are critical to the successful installation and activation of cooperative, non-cooperative, and integrated radar and surveillance systems throughout the National Airspace System (NAS). Team members will support radar room equipment installation, antennas, power systems, grounding and earthing systems, cabling, surge protection devices (SPDs), and installation acceptance testing (IAT).Working alongside engineers, construction managers, FAA personnel, and customer representatives, technicians will help modernize FAA infrastructure in fast-paced operational environments across the country.ResponsibilitiesPerform field installation and integration activities for radar and surveillance systems, including ADS-B technologiesInstall radar room equipment, racks, antennas, cabling, grounding systems, power distribution equipment, and associated infrastructureInstall, terminate, and test power and structured cabling in accordance with approved designs and electrical codesSupport logistics, equipment staging, mobilization, and deployment activitiesCoordinate with engineers, construction management, FAA personnel, and installation teams to support site readiness and deployment schedulesSupport installation acceptance testing (IAT), system startup, and power verification activitiesTroubleshoot and resolve installation and electrical issues encountered during field activitiesPrepare installation documentation, reports, photographic records, and as-built informationEnsure all work is performed in compliance with safety, security, quality, and FAA operational requirementsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent technical trainingExperience supporting field installation of electronic, communications, radar, electrical, or other complex technical systemsHands-on experience with equipment installation, rack mounting, structured cabling, grounding systems, and power distributionAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation documentationStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel nationwide and work extended hours as neededPhysical ability to perform field work, including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces or at heightsUS Citizenship required to successfully complete a government investigationAdditional Requirement for Licensed Electrician PositionsActive electrician certification/license (state or jurisdictional) requiredExperience with commercial or industrial electrical installations, grounding, bonding, and surge protection systems preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting FAA programs, NAS infrastructure, radar systems, or air traffic management systemsExperience with ADS-B, PSR, MSSR, or similar surveillance technologiesFamiliarity with grounding systems, lightning protection, SPDs, and mission-critical power systemsOSHA safety certification, tower climbing certification, or equivalent field safety credentialsExperience supporting multi-site deployment programs and installation acceptance testing (IAT)If you enjoy travel, hands-on technical work, solving complex challenges, and supporting mission-critical infrastructure, we encourage you to apply.We invest in the lives of our employees, both in and out of the workplace, by providing competitive pay and benefits packages.
