The successful applicant will be involved in both project development and execution. The applicant will directly interact with clients to establish project requirements, develop conceptual solutions, and prepare commercial proposals. During project execution, the applicant will support our project management and engineering teams by evaluating design trade-offs, performing computational modeling, and preparing technical documentation.\nResponsibilities\nDeveloping sales contacts and researching customer needs\nGuiding potential customers to products or services that fulfill their needs\nDeveloping internal cost estimates and evaluating potential suppliers\nDrafting technical and commercial proposals for submittal to customers\nParticipating in commercial negotiations with customers\nProviding process engineering support to product development teams\nPerforming computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and process modeling\nPerforming process design calculations, including mass and energy balances\nParticipates in development of new products, modification of existing products, and termination of ineffective products\nParticipates in sales forecasting and planning\nDevelops sales materials, articles, and presentations\nCommunicating in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers\nRequirements\nB.S. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent\nEntry level to 5 years of industry experience\nAbility to independently establish goals and schedules\nExperience with Microsoft Office\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in commercial or industrial sales\nExperience with 2D and 3D CAD: AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks\nExperience with CFD simulation: ANSYS CFX and Fluent\nExperience with process simulation: ASPEN Plus\nProgramming experience: Excel VBA, Python, Java, C#\nJob Highlights\nParticipation in a growing small business with excellent opportunity for career advancement\nCompensation package includes salary, performance bonus, 401K contribution, health and dental benefits\nTravel opportunities to domestic and foreign project locations\nParticipation in the employee stock ownership plan (ESOP).
