As an electronics assembler you will assemble electronics and cables for electron sources operating at up to 200 kV. Attention to detail, strict adherence to established protocols, eagerness to improve the quality of the manufacturing process, and good communication skills are essential. Training will be provided, but prior electronics assembly experience is a plus.\nResponsibilities:\nAssemble rack-mounted electronics.\nAssemble cables and cable harnesses.\nAssemble and rework PCBs with SMD components.\nAssist production engineers with installation, repair, and testing.\nCreate documentation for new assembly procedures.\nMaintain good house-keeping of one's work area.\nQualifications:\n2-year technical degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.\nSoldering skills.\nAbility to read, understand and follow detailed engineering drawings and process specifications.\nAbility to work independently and ask for guidance when appropriate.\nAbility to work well with others.\nAbility to lift and carry 25 lbs.\nAbility to commute or relocate.\nMust be authorized to work in the United States.What makes you stand out:\nProfessional experience with electronics assembly to IPC/IEC/ISO standards.\nKnowledge of basic electrical circuit theory.\nStrong mechanical aptitude.\n\nAt Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $53,434 and $70,000 provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
