This role is responsible for executing field pressure tests to verify the safety, integrity, and compliance of pipeline systems in accordance with industry standards.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and assemble hydrostatic testing equipment, ensuring all components meet required specifications and safety standardsExecute hydrostatic tests on pipelines, pressure vessels, and related systems following established proceduresMonitor and record pressure readings, leak detection results, and test data during testing operationsMaintain accurate test documentation and reports in accordance with industry and regulatory standardsInterpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure proper test setup and configurationCommunicate effectively with field crews, inspectors, and supervisors throughout testing operationsMaintain a strong commitment to job site safety and operational excellenceActively participates in JSA and uses all necessary steps to complete tasks safely and ensures the safety of others working in the area.Communicates with all levels of management and crew to effectively present any needs and changes.All other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesExperience working with pipeline pressure testing, mechanical connections, and test documentation, and be capable of operating independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy.Strong understanding of pressure testing procedures and equipmentAbility to interpret technical drawings and schematicsProficiency using Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel and Word, for documentation and reportingStrong communication skills with the ability to clearly relay information to team members and inspectorsAbility to work independently in field environmentsAbility to adhere to a written method or procedure.Confidence to STOP work immediately when a problem is identified.Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, preferred.Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products, preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Management ResponsibilitiesThis job has supervisory responsibilities.
