This role is full-time, standard business hours (M-F, 8am-5pm) working in our Baton Rouge office.\nCore Responsibilities\nProvide first-level technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system\nDiagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and network issues\nCreate and maintain detailed support tickets for all customer interactions\nSetup and configure new workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices\nInstall and upgrade standard software applications and system updates\nPerform basic Active Directory tasks (user management, password resets)\nEscalate complex issues to Level 2/3 support when necessary\nMaintain technical documentation of solutions and procedures\nDemonstrates “Can Do, Will Do!” attitude\nOther duties as assigned\nTechnical Requirements\nHardware Support\nPC and laptop hardware troubleshooting\nPrinter and scanner configuration\nMobile device support (phones, tablets)\nSoftware Support\nWindows Desktop OS (Windows 10/11)\nMicrosoft Office 365 suite including:\nOutlook email and calendar management\nTeams administration\nSharePoint basic operations\nOneDrive file management\nStandard business applications\nRemote support tools\nNetwork Support\nBasic LAN troubleshooting\nNetwork connectivity issues\nVPN client support\nWi-Fi connectivity\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n1+ year of technical support experience or help desk role\nStrong customer service orientation\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical users\nExperience with ticketing systems and remote support tools\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate's degree in IT-related field\nTechnical certifications such as:\nCompTIA A+\nCompTIA Network+\nCompTIA Security+\nMicrosoft certifications\nCCNA\nMSP (Managed Service Provider) experience\nExperience with Windows Server administration\nKnowledge of IT security best practices\nSuccess Metrics\nTimesheets are accurate and submitted on time\nMeet SLA requirements for different priority levels\nAchieve customer satisfaction rating of 96% or higher\nMaintain detailed ticket documentation\nDocumentation quality\nProfessional development progress\nTravel\nTravel to customer sites using your own vehicle. No overnight travel.\nPredominantly operates in an office environment. Some periods of time may be spent in computer room and communications equipment spaces for installation, testing, and troubleshooting. Some work (less than 5%) requires moving and lifting of heavy networking equipment.\nMust be able to perform extensive standing, driving, walking, and climbing; to lift up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance, to transport and stock assigned supplies and materials; to pick-up from vendors and deliver stock and materials to customers upon request, to wear personal protective equipment.
