Job Description
Scott Petroleum is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking to gain experience in a customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner
Provide information about products and promotions
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally and efficiently
Promote a positive customer service experience with a customer-centric approach
Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment
2. Orders and Deliveries:
Handling customer orders by phone and in person
Dispatch delivery orders to drivers
Filling propane bottles (training and certification requirements provided)
Maintaining daily and monthly inventory totals
Monitor inventory levels of oil shed and report low-stock items to the supervisor
Delivering packaged goods and DEF to customers
3. Safety and Compliance:
Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and compliance guidelines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Friendly and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
Basic computer skills for operating cash registers and recording transactions
