In this role, you will design and champion automation strategies that keep our mission-critical financial systems stable, performant, and continuously deliverable. You will partner closely with developers, product owners, and platform engineers to embed quality throughout the software lifecycle — from sprint planning through production release.\n\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.\n\nSpecific duties and responsibilities include creating, maintaining and executing automation test plans, writing code against software platforms, estimating testing efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participation in day-to-day test activities (functional, regression and integration), and contribute to the company’s performance and scalability testing efforts\n\nContribute to our long-term vision and strategy for improved quality via automation\n\nDevelop, enhance and extend automation frameworks\n\nIdentify quality tasks during team sprint cycle and implement automation for new features\n\nAnalyze and communicate test results and defect tracking\n\nParticipate in performance and load test efforts\n\nAssist in the planning, creation and control of the test environments and test data\n\nDefine test strategy, conduct requirements analysis for testability, identify scope, conduct risk and mitigation planning, configuration management planning, write master and detailed test plans for test planning and design\n\nParticipate in the review of test procedures and processes and provide recommendations for improvements to eliminate redundancies in testing and improve efficiency.\n\nSupport regression testing and introduction of required changes as new releases are introduced\n\nProvide support for the Ovations systems including, but not limited to, research and resolution of system issues, user support, and scheduled activities\n\nBuild upon/maintain professional relationships with key colleagues and vendors to ensure that the services and solutions provided meet the current and future needs of OCC\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\n\nNone\n\nQualifications:\n\nThe requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
